Supply & Demand Chain Executive Reveals Winners of Top Supply Chain Projects

June 24, 2022

Rockwell Automation wins award for its innovation that delivers bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across a range of supply chain functions.

MILWAUKEE, WIS. – June 24, 2022 – Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced its selection by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, for the 2022 Top Supply Chain Projects Award for the solution FactoryTalk® Edge Gateway™.

The Top Supply Chain Projects (formerly known as SDCE 100) spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across a range of supply chain functions.

FactoryTalk Edge Gateway allows users to interact with real-time industrial data, break data silos and uncover insights needed to improve plant operations. This solution simplifies and automates the collection, contextualization and organization of industrial equipment data across machines, devices and automation assets at source — enabling high data integrity from the outset.

“Rockwell Automation is honored to be selected as a winner of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Top Supply Chain Projects,” says Chirayu Shah, director of product management, digital products at Rockwell Automation. “FactoryTalk Edge Gateway provides a strong foundation for businesses to drive edge-to-cloud IT/OT convergence at the enterprise level so everyone within the enterprise can make smarter decisions.”

“The past 18 months have been a tumultuous time for U.S. supply chains,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “But the core reason today's supply chains haven't completely fallen apart is because solutions providers have been working diligently to partner with customers and clients to streamline processes, implement emerging technology and deliver results that improve bottom lines and the environment. For many of these collaborations, it's about achieving full visibility, complete forecasting, end-to-end leverage and the ultimate in sustainability.”
