Rockwell Automation Announces Senior Leadership Transitions

June 11, 2018

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rockwell Automation Inc. (NYSE: ROK) announces senior leadership transitions to be effective July 2, all reporting to Blake Moret, Chairman and CEO.

“The following leadership changes, which result from our long-term leadership succession planning process, accelerate our ability to bring the Connected Enterprise to life, and with these leaders, we will engage the full power of our organization,” said Moret. “These changes will enable us to maximize the contribution of our experienced leaders as we leverage our understanding of customers’ best opportunities for productivity and combine technical innovation with domain expertise to deliver positive business outcomes.”

Ted Crandall, senior vice president, Control Products & Solutions (CP&S), one of the company’s two operating segments, announced his intent to retire near the end of the calendar year 2018. He will continue to report to Moret until his retirement and will work to ensure a successful transition. “I appreciate Ted’s willingness to stay on to ensure smooth leadership transitions in the coming months,” said Moret. “He was our Chief Financial Officer for many years. His experience on our senior team and his personal counsel to me has been tremendously valuable.”

Frank Kulaszewicz, who currently serves as senior vice president, Architecture & Software (A&S), the company’s other operating segment, will assume leadership for Control Products & Solutions. Kulaszewicz is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of how to harness technology to bring about positive outcomes for our customers.

Fran Wlodarczyk, currently vice president, Control Visualization business in A&S, is promoted to senior vice president, A&S. Wlodarczyk brings experience in both business segments at Rockwell Automation, with roles spanning multiple global regions and including both product and solutions businesses.

To amplify the company’s Connected Enterprise strategy, a new Connected Enterprise Consulting team will be led by senior vice president Robert (Bob) Murphy. Murphy currently leads Operations and Engineering Services (OES), which is responsible for all global manufacturing for Rockwell Automation. With almost 40 years of experience in operations around the world, Murphy and this new team will help customers plan their Connected Enterprise journey.

Finally, Mike Laszkiewicz will join the senior leadership team as senior vice president, OES. Mike has held many leadership roles, most recently leading the Power Control Business in CP&S. He is a thought leader in the area of manufacturing workforce development.
